James Mendoza, Director
Since 2011, James has served as the Administrator of Service for Information Technology for the Region One Education, located in South Texas, covering a network of over 40 independent school districts. He has extensive experience in learning platforms and managing teams. James joined COFSA in March 2015.
Tom Kaul, Co-director
Tom has taught at the college level since 1997. He has also served on the advisory board of the SOS-Center (Milwaukee), a nonprofit helping the urban under-served. From 2006-11 he surpervised the pre-seminary students for Concordia University-WI. He has served as pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Germantown, WI since 1990. Tom joined COFSA in August 2016.
Marti Singer, Council member
Marti has served as the Co-Director of Academic Assessment at Georgia State University and has also held an Associate Professorship of English at GSU, teaching there from 1983-2014. She has also worked with the College Board to assess test material. Marti joined COFSA in May 2014.
Scott Dunford, Council member
Scott was the Executive Vice President of Northland International University from 2013-2015, serving to recruit students and to work through issues of financial aid. Currently he oversees recruitment and mobilization for ABWE International. Scott joined COFSA in October 2015.
Ed Kline, Council member
Ed teaches AP English classes in the Portland School District, Portland OR. He also has served as assessor for national AP exams for over 5 years. Ed joined COFSA in May 2015.
