PEOPLE

Our core group of council members have had extensive experience on all tiers and stages of the teaching and assessment process. Administrators, faculty members, and primary and secondary educators join together here to uphold our protocol. Most are listed publicly here, but a small group remains unlisted in a private panel to ensure double-blind review.

RULES

These rules ensure the sustainability of the process. They need to be as accurate as possible in defining and  protecting the core activity of the faculty-school system. And they need to be completely separated from profit-driven influence of any form. If we may say so ourselves, we've nailed this!

DONATE

How do we fund our work? Glad you asked. There are no salaried positions at COFSA. If directors or advisors are to make money from their work, they must do so by raising donations to COFSA. The organization keeps 70%, and the person raising the funding keeps 30%. We use the 70% to provide scholarships and funding to faculty schools.

ABOUT US

COFSA is the top part of a three-part system that exists to provide an alternate platform for higher education. The first two parts are the faculty schools on the ground and the accreditation agencies in the middle. The third part is the organization positioned above the accreditation agencies in order to review their procedures. This is where COFSA is positioned, and in this way, we provide quality control to the system as a whole.

We are small on purpose. We are independent on purpose. And we are completely non-funded by the entities we recognize . . . on purpose. The formula is easy. Give good people the power to make good choices on how they deliver education, and then simply watch them do it.
